Update on May 24, 2020: Elon Musk said that after an extensive investigation into decreasing the overall size of the CyberTruck so it could fit into standard size garages, they decided to keep it with the original proportions.
Updated CyberTruck Design
Elon Musk recently tweeted that his design team was fine-tuning the dimensions of the the CyberTruck. This was done because the original design was too long to fit in a standard parking garage. Elon mentioned the following changes:
1. Window Sill gets lower
2. Center Line is more level
3. Size is reduced around 3% (Mostly in length)
@Alvinart created the following illustration below to show the difference between the new (top) and old versions (bottom). Notice the new model pictured on top and squared off the back to make it shorter.
A Tweeter asked Elon Musk if the changes would effect the cabin size
Maybe 1.5% change to interior dimensions. Still very roomy.— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) April 19, 2020
